The Emergency and Safety Equipment Training (ESET) is designed to all crew members to provide regulation knowledge and description about emergency and safety equipment carried onboard.
Crew members obtain the necessary knowledges and skills to use the safety equipment, with special focus on passenger’s be havior and guidance in emergency situations.
The skills developed during the course will significantly contribute to the enhancement of passenger and crew safety during flights.
The yearly training requirements are fulfilled by covering topics related to the use of the safety equipment located on the aircrafts which includes:
- General Safety training in accordance with EASA Regulation.
- Using of fire extinguishers, first aid oxygen, fire axe, life jackets, mock - up and scape slide for evacuation, and crowd control.
The following modules are covered during the course:
- General information.
- Emergency and safety equipment quantity, location, usage and checks.
- Hand Fire Extinguishers.
- Oxygen Equipment.
- Emergency Evacuation.
- Other Equipment.
- Fire Fighting procedures, fumes in the cabin and lithium batteries.
- Pyrotechnics training.
